Check Out Utah Lake Festival!

This Saturday, Utah Lake State Park will host the 8th annual Utah Lake Festival.  The free event offers something fun and educational for all ages.  You should really plan to bring family and friends to the park.

The Festival was cancelled last year due to high water in the park and we’re anxious to see what the organizers have put together for our community this year.  The 2010 event was an absolute blast and included many different demos and activities … including a paddle board lesson.  Be sure to walk the entire park so you don’t miss any of the recreation options this under appreciated prize of Utah County has to offer the adventure seeker.

Seriously folks, ride, run, walk or drive … get yourselves out to Utah Lake State Park this Saturday between 10 am – 2 pm. You will be assured a fantastic time.

Of course, we’d be happy to have you over for brunch at Communal before you head out west and definitely plan a stop at zen drinks before or after the Festival to visit our friend and Heirloom family member, Julie Dayley, for a shaved ice, Italian soda, her signature jasmine green teamosa or a craft espresso beverage.  Word is if you mention you read about zen drinks in this space, you and each member of your group will be treated to a free small shaved ice or $1.50 off any drink.

Whatever you get up to this weekend, have fun and be safe!  Cheers!
