Farm to Table Event at Sun River Gardens

Come join us for an elegant evening outdoors under glowing lights surrounded by a canopy of trees and flowers as we invite you to experience a menu inspired by an end of summer harvest! Our local chefs at Communal + Heirloom Restaurant Group are experts in bringing the freshest ingredients to the table in creative and unique ways. We are thrilled that we are able to host this event and be able to bring the community together through local food, local farmers and local chefs. This menu was created by artists and it will delight your tastebuds.

Dinner is $60/person. Space is limited. To reserve a space please call Sun River Gardens at 801-229-1975 or sign-up in person. The Reservation Fee is due upon RSVPing. Dinner includes a 4-course meal, beverages + gratuity. Each guest will also leave with a handmade garden gift. Please contact tanya@sunrivergardens.com if you have further questions!
Also Note: Event will take place rain or shine. No rain-checks available. This is an outside event, please dress accordingly. If there is rain in the forecast for that evening, the event will be moved indoors. Sun Dollars cannot be redeemed towards this event. Due to the preparation and popularity of this event, cancellations 3 days prior to the event are non-refundable. (August 29th, 2015)”

Dale Allred’s Heirloom Tomatoes

If there is anybody who can grow the most delicious tomatoes, it is Dale Allred. Delivering over 30 varieties of heirloom tomatoes weekly to Heirloom Restaurant Group, it is incredible to be able to taste the difference between each variety and see how different a simple tomato can be. They are so good, that we have a hard time using any other tomatoes when they aren’t in season, so we don’t even try. Currently on the Pizzeria 712 and Communal menus, we are offering two very different and very delicious tomato salads, both for a very limited time only while these tomatoes are in season.

Left (Communal): Dave Allred’s heirloom tomatoes with Sugar Sweet Farms watermelon, served with fresh burrata and basil puree.

Right (Pizzeria 712): Dave Allred’s heirloom tomatoes with fresh handpulled mozzarella, balsamic vinaigrette, olive oil, and finished with basil from La Nay Ferme.
